Person 1: *shocked* Oh. Which field?

Person 1: *eyes about to pop out* Wow, isn't that hard?
Me: Errr...

Me: Electrical engineering?
Person 2: *trying to come to terms with what he/she just heard* Isn't that like...hard?
Me: Errr....(insert yes/no depending on what i feel like answering today).
Person 2: That's so weird. There's not many girls doing it right?
Me: Not really...

Scene 3
Person 3: What did you say u were studying?
Me: Engineering
Person 3: What sort?
Me: Electrical
Person 3: Oooh so you deal with a lot of electrical thingies like resistors and capacitors.
Me: Errr....no. More of Telecomunication and signal processing
Person 3: *puzzled by what i just said* Oh...kay....

Scene 4
Person 4: What are you studying?
Me: Electrical Engineering
Person 4: Ah cool. Not many girls doing it i heard. Which year are you in?
Me: 4th year.
Person 4: So you're graduating this year right?
Me:Err... actually i have one more year to go
Person 4: I thought engineering is a 4 year course?
Me: It is. I'm doing a double degree.
Person 4: Oh. What's your other degree?
Me: Science
Person 4: I see. Majoring in?
Me: Physics
Person 4: *dumbfounded* interesting......

Few examples of what i encounter everytime i meet someone. It's pretty much the same thing everytime. From the examples mentioned above, i seems to me that they are implying that i am :-

1. Crazy
2. Weird
3. Freakishly weird
   
4. "Interesting"

Which doesn't seem like a very good thing..... Oh the agony i must've put those people through when they try to be polite coz i'm the only poor lil ol species of its kind in the room. Hence they have to strike up an awkward conversation with me. So at the next party, maybe i would say this instead

Next person i meet: So... what are you studying?
Me: Commerce
Next person i meet: What are you majoring in?
Me: Accounting.
Next person i meet: I see. That's....nice. I'm gona go get a drink now. Catch you later kay!
Me: Okay! *sly grin*

Some interesting things about me...weird but true

1. I can't spell nessasary...nescessary...nescesary...NECESSARY!
2. When I use eye-drops, it flows down my throat.
3. I sneeze when i look at the sun or stare at light bulbs
4. I sneeze when i drink Pei Pa Ko.
5. I sneeze when i drink Baileys.
   
6. I'm still using the same bottle of perfume since college and it's not even quarter used.
7. I still haven't finished the bottle of face cleanser i had since first year Uni.
8. I hate awkward silence

10. I am a very patient person
11. I do random and stupid things from time to time. So stupid that my family disowns me.

Here's to my fantastic red converse which's been with me since first year. Stuck with me through harsh road conditions, dirt, cow-patty, rainy days and the occasional squash court wooden floors. Sadly, red converse is now so worn out that it wont be seeing any rainy days anymore.

All We Are - One Republic

Few weeks back i had a dream Eunice married Kelvin and both of them decided to move to London. I woke up crying. And immediately went to my Msn and made my bffs (Connie and Eunice) promise they'd never leave me. Since then, Eunice calls me her nostalgic friend. I guess i can be pretty nostalgic. I like reminiscing bout the past. Only happy memories cause i only keep my happy memories. The other day i also realised, certain scent remind me of certain things.

Let's see. There's this Ambi Pur scent (which i decided to use again after neglecting it for a year) which made me miss my old place on Queen street. Then that made me miss hanging out wif Joo, Sheng, Deb, Aaron, Koon, Col and Shoe. Made me think of those impromptu trips to Mt. Dandenong, St Kilda, Carlton Gardens, Great Ocean Road and the occasional random trips to Crown arcade. Cheers to Joo n Sheng for winning us those black n white wrist bands which some of us managed to wear for a year. Karaoke-ing to the guitar. Ah the good ol days.

Among other scent:

Dove shower gel = Ryan (dang, wont be using this for awhile)

I was walking home from Safeway yesterday. Looking at the autumn leaves n the lovely colours of the trees made me wanna start a blog. Don't know why.

I remember telling einnoc to keep herself busy. So, i'm taking my own advice now. Updating bloggie here and my other scrapblog, going out more and hopefully start nerding soon. Should have enough things to keep me occupied for awhile.
